What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing, Micropigmentation or Microblading is a type of superficial tattooing that involves applying pigment into the skin’s dermal layer to enhance features such as eyebrows, eyes, and lips. Permanent makeup can look very natural. By tattooing thin lines or tiny dots of ink on your brows, lips, or eyelids, you can get the effect of having makeup on all the time. That means that your makeup always looks fresh, even when you first wake up in the morning. It serves to enhance natural beauty and often is undetectable, so regular makeup can be worn over it for a more dramatic look. This makes it a great option for women who want a natural daily makeup look, but also appreciate the versatility of traditional, non-permanent makeup products.

Powder Brows

Popular method for those looking to enhance their eyebrows without the daily maintenance of traditional makeup, providing a long-lasting solution for a more polished appearance. , offering a natural yet enhanced result that typically lasts around 1-3 years.

Lip Blush

Technique aims to give the lips a more defined, full, and youthful appearance. providing a long-lasting solution for those looking to enhance their lips without the daily application of makeup.

Soft Eyeliner

Popular cosmetic treatment where pigment is implanted into the skin to create a subtle and long-lasting eyeliner look. This can enhance the eyes by defining the lash line and creating a fuller appearance without needing to apply makeup daily.

Microblading

Microblading procedure helps fill in sparse or thin eyebrows, create a more defined shape, and give the appearance of fuller, more symmetrical brows. This technique is popular for its natural-looking results and it is a popular option for those looking to achieve a more polished and low-maintenance look for their eyebrows.

MM Tattoo Removal

Tattoo removal using chemical methods typically involves applying a specialized solution to the skin that breaks down the pigments of the tattoo, allowing for the ink to be gradually removed from the body. This method may require multiple sessions for complete removal.

Hairstrokes Technique

Precise hair-like brush strokes to mimic the look of natural eyebrows. This method allows for a more realistic and natural appearance compared to traditional eyebrow tattooing techniques. With this technique artist controls the depth and pressure of each stroke, resulting in a customised and tailored eyebrow shape for the client.

Stages after PMU treatment

Once you finish the procedure, the healing process will start, as your skin is repairing itself from the procedure of pigment insertion. Your pigment may start darkening in a matter of hours, but it will brighten up after a few days or a week. During the healing process, it can look as though some or all of the pigment has come off or peeled away. You may think of this as ‘fading’ but the pigment is not fading, it is just ‘healing’ into the skin. The colour will come back towards the end of the healing process. The healing process can take between 3-4 weeks. Fully healed results are after week 4.
